My name is Glade Peterson. I started Empire Pest Defense because I enjoy working with people and wanted to put my knowledge of pest control to good use.

I got into pest control during my college years as a means to pay for my schooling. During the summer months I worked for different pest control companies selling pest control. After I graduated from Boise State University with a B.A. in Accounting I went to work doing taxes for a larger real-estate company. I worked many long hours until I decided that the best decision I could make for my family would be to go into business for myself doing something that I know well, something I am good at and something that allows me to be home when the sun goes down. I have been able to apply both my accounting skills as well as my pest control knowledge to my business and have also found a way to work closely with my wife and family.

 I have worked in three different states acquiring a vast knowledge of the ins and outs of pest control. I take several training classes a year to further my education with current up to date courses on the latest treatments and methods out there.  I really enjoy learning about new treatments, especially new developments in Green Pest Control. I know my training will help me provide you with the best service possible.

Because my wife and I traveled to Florida from a small town in Idaho were we grew up, we really enjoy bringing a friendly small town feel to our work here.  We train our employees to not only receive the best education about pest control and treatment methods, but also how to have a great attitude and reliable friendly customer service. We strongly believe that the most important part of our business is YOU, and your happiness with our service.
